Curious details

During the renovation of the tabernacle a small box containing a letter to posterity was found. It bears the date of 1889 and informs about the renovation which took place in that year, as well as about its author. The letter refers to the hard situation in the period of the Partitions of Poland. It ends with the words: “God, let us live to see better times.”

On the outside wall of the church there is fixed a wooden funeral plaque made using very unique technique. The letters are convex, since the sculptor who made the plaque removed the wood surrounding them.
