Krystyna Bochenek Centre of Culture in Katowice

The Centre of Culture, name after Krystyna Bochenek, was founded in 2010 by the merger of the Upper Silesian Centre of Culture and Silesian Estrada. The newly formed institution is engaged in dissemination of art and culture, activation of the creative sectors, and artistic education.

Centrum Kultury Katowice im. Krystyny Bochenek zostało powołane do życia w 2010 r. Jego patronką została Krystyna Bochenek, senator RP, która zginęła w dniu 10 kwietnia 2010 r. w katastrofie lotniczej pod Smoleńskiem.
