Piast Castle in Gliwice

The Piast Castle, today a branch of the Museum of Gliwice, was originally part of the line of medieval fortifications of the city. It was built in the 14th century, but the reconstruction of the 17th and 19th centuries caused the loss of its residential and defensive features.
