Description

The GPS tracker is a device monitoring a given member of the group.

The tourist can feel safe thanks to the following functions of the GPS tracker:

• constant monitoring of the user's geographic position. The tracker sends periodic messages with the user's position to the Data Centre.
• calling for help quickly after pushing the SOS button on the case of the tracker.

Where can you get a GPS tracker?  

GPS trackers can be rented in designated information centres.

Using the tracker  

Having rented the tracker, the only thing you have to do is to insert the SIM card to the socket on the right side of the device and turn it on by pushing the button "ON" on the right side of the tracker. The device will be activated after 40 seconds.

Three diodes on the case indicate the state of the device:

1. The red "Power" diode indicates that the device is turned on.
2. The blue GPS diode indicates the state of the GPS module:
   • blinking - when the diode is turned on for 0,1 second and turned off for 2,9 seconds, it means that the device has determined the GPS position correctly (that is, the GPS has been fixed),
   • blinking - when the diode is turned on for 1 second and turned off for 2 seconds, it means that the device has not determined the GPS position (that is, the GPS has not been fixed).
3. The green GSM diode indicates the state of the GSM module:
   • blinking - when the diode is turned on for 0,1 second and turned off for 2,9 seconds, it means that the device has been connected to the GSM network correctly.
   • blinking - when the diode is turned on for 1 second and turned off for 2 seconds, it means that the device has not been connected to the GSM network.

Before the first use:

• Make sure, that the device is charged. It can be charged through the mini-USB port on the right side of the device. The battery holds 13 hours. The maximum charge time is 3 hours. The red diode is turned on during the charging. After the device is charged, the diode is turned off.
• Check whether you have enough money on your account to send text messages and GPRS data packages.
• After turning the device on, wait around 40 seconds for its initialization.
